第四十章
[原文]

反者道之动①，弱者②道之用。天下万物生于有③，有生于无④。

[译文]

循环往复的运动变化，是道的运动，道的作用是微妙、柔弱的。天下的万物产生于看得见的有形质，有形质又产生于不可见的无形质。

反者道之动：负反馈； 弱者②道之用， 正反馈。 合抱之木，生于毫末。 虽然初始条件可以是“无”，但是动态系统，变化产生“有”。 老子的文字是古代系统科学的开山路标作。 其基础可能是易经，附加大量现已失传的历史典籍。  孔子学易经比较晚，可能已经40-50岁，然后就“知天命”。 所以易经，河图洛书都是状态机。
